An authentic riverside Thai restaurant in Pathum Thani province. Using good ingredients. Tasty, authentic, and flavorful. Grilled river prawn was good. Geng Runjuan (แกงรัญจวน), soup made from pork or beef curry seasoned with fermented shrimp paste chili sauce, was excellent here.

We ordered too much, but the food here is overall quite good. They have large and small plate options. Nice restaurant by the river in patum thani. Food looks really good though!

A serene authentic Thai cuisine that brings you back in time to the mid 18's period. You get to dine right next to the scenic section of the Chaopraya river in Pathumthani province. An hour roadtrip from Bangkok's CBD with light traffic or you can even get to this place by boat (this restaurant has a private pier). The foods here are amazing especially the authentic taste of each dish that represent the original taste, what should be spicy it can get really spicy so please be awared. I can't recommend any individual menu because if you have a chance then you better try all of them. Especially for tourists or foreigners, all those well renowned internationally are served here so please feel free to order all of them. Entering the restaurant you need to wear their shoes as this shows the Thai culture for respecting the owner of the property also to keep the place clean. It might be a bit of a road trip here but definitely you'll fall in love with everything this place has to offer. Highly recommended to visit. **Reservation is hightly advised**

As we entered, we walked through what seemed to be a former living room adorned with plenty of old décor that whispered stories of the past. Our visit was a second attempt, as our first try was thwarted by the restaurant's popularity with locals. It was a scene of chaotic parking with the car park completely full and a trail of vehicles spilling onto the narrow road leading up to the entrance. Having learned our lesson, this time, we arrived early. We just had to wait a little till after 5pm. We were not aware that the restaurant takes a break midday between 3pm to 5pm so that they won’t work their staffs to death. The wait was worth it. As we were treated to a lovely seating area by the water, nestled in a cozy corner that felt like our own private sanctuary. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options, including wooden air-conditioned cabins that add to the rustic charm. Serving traditional Thai cuisine, every dish we tried was a flavor sensation. From classic favorites such as the stewed pork with hardboiled eggs, to more obscure regional specialties like lotus roots salted fish coconut soup, each bite was a testament to the kitchen's skill and dedication to preserving Thailand's culinary heritage. If you're looking for a genuine, homey dining experience that showcases the best of Thai cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. Be prepared for a possible wait and plan your visit accordingly. Perhaps, call to make a reservation in advance.

Escape the city to a traditional riverside Thai restaurant, just an hour from Bangkok. Housed in a charming old house, they serve authentic Thai home-style cooking. The menu features a variety of curries, stir-fries, grilled dishes, clear soups, and salads. The flavors are balanced, leaning towards milder rather than overly salty or spicy, with some dishes being quite subtle. They also offer river prawns, though the M-size tends to be on the smaller side

From the moment you walk through the door, the inviting garden atmosphere and warm family hospitality make you feel right at home. Baan Ta Nid boasts a charming and serene ambiance, with tasteful decor that reflects the beauty of Thai culture. The soft lighting, traditional artwork, and comfortable seating create an inviting space that's perfect for both intimate dinners and casual gatherings with friends and family. Baan Ta Nid is a culinary gem that should not be missed. Whether you’re a fan of Traditional Thai cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant promises a memorable experience filled with flavor and warmth. The owner (p’Mod) is so down to earth person even though he’s quite a high profile celebrity chef. We are so lucky to stay on the premises over night at our last minute plan. We can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings!

Tucked along the banks of the Chao Phraya River, Baan Ta Nid offers a delightful escape into authentic Thai cuisine with a scenic riverside setting that feels both relaxed and vibrant. The restaurant is beautifully positioned to catch the river breeze, with outdoor seating that provides a lovely view—especially during sunset when the golden light reflects on the water. The menu focuses on traditional Thai flavors, with a variety of well-executed local dishes. Expect familiar favorites like spicy seafood salads, deep-fried river prawns, and rich curries, alongside lesser-known regional specialties that showcase the depth of Thai culinary heritage. The food is flavorful, well-portioned, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Baan Ta Nid tends to get quite busy, especially on weekends and holidays. The atmosphere can be lively and a bit bustling, which adds to its charm but also means you may face a wait if you show up without a booking. Reservations are highly recommended, particularly if you want a riverside table or are coming with a group.
